Understand What You Read, a seven-day KJV Bible study starter by Slate Creek Ministries.

Begin with a passage you can understand

Common questions

Do I need previous Bible-study experience?

No. The starter introduces the method gradually and explains what to do along the way. It is written for adult readers who want a clear starting point.

Do I have to finish in seven consecutive days?

No. Work at your own pace. Day Two includes extra Scripture so you can read the surrounding resurrection argument, and you can take more than one sitting for any lesson.

Which Bible translation does it use?

All Scripture quotations are from the King James Version. Every passage required for the exercises is printed in the study.

Can I use it on a screen?

Yes. Read the PDF on your device and keep your answers in a notebook, or print the US Letter pages (8.5 × 11 inches). The PDF has clickable navigation, but it does not contain electronic fill-in fields.

Who is this study for?

This starter is written for individual adult Bible readers. You do not need children, a teaching role, or another course to begin.

Do I need to buy another resource to complete it?

No. The gospel explanation, required Scripture, lessons, questions, and answers are all included in this free starter.
