Your five main lessons

Most main lessons take about 15–20 minutes. Lesson 4 may need more time. Follow seven suggested sessions or spread the study over a longer period.

How to begin together

  1. Read the opening guidance. Begin with Study at a Glance, Parent Preview, and Scripture and Memory.
  2. Start with Lesson 1. Read the printed passage, follow the activities, and talk about the questions together.
  3. Use the parent guide. Help younger learners answer aloud and invite older learners to explain their thinking from Scripture.

Print on US Letter paper (8.5 × 11 inches) in color or grayscale. Your family may share a copy or print individual pages. You may also read on screen and record answers in a notebook.

Questions before you begin

Who is the study for?

It is designed for learners ages 7–14 with a parent or another adult leading. Use it for family Bible time, homeschool lessons, or a church, classroom, or Bible-study group. Younger children can answer aloud, and older learners can develop their explanations.

Do we have to finish in seven days?

No. The study contains five main lessons and two flexible extras. Follow seven suggested sessions or spread them out to suit your family. Complete the main lessons in order.

Do I need teaching experience or another course?

No. Clear instructions, printed Scripture, and the Parent Answer and Discussion Guide help you lead. The free study is complete on its own; Volume 1 is an optional next step.

How do we receive the PDF?
