The Word in Our Home: Volume 1 – Biblical Foundations is a 12-week family Bible curriculum for learners ages 7–14, with a parent or other adult leading. Connected readings, clear teaching, thoughtful discussion, and guided activities help your family understand what the Bible says and respond to it in everyday life.

Each week includes five main lessons, designed for about 15–20 minutes each, plus two flexible extras: Memory and Review and Family Bible Quiz Night. Complete the main lessons in order, then fit the extras into your family’s schedule.

What Your Family Will Learn

Begin with God’s Word, creation, human worth, and our need for a Saviour. Study who Jesus Christ is, His death and resurrection, salvation by grace through faith, and the believer’s security in Christ. Finish with growing through Scripture and prayer, living out your faith, and sharing the gospel.

Along the way, learners practice noticing key words, connecting passages, checking claims against Scripture, and explaining an answer with support from the Bible.

Learn Together at Your Family’s Pace

Scripture quotations use the King James Version (KJV), also called the Authorized Version (AV). Word help is provided where it supports the lesson.
