You do not have to keep fighting the same battle in secret.
When alcohol, pornography, or another destructive habit keeps drawing you back, the cost reaches beyond the habit itself. Broken promises wear down trust, and discouragement can make you wonder whether real change is still possible.
No Longer Bound is an eight-week KJV Bible study for men who want to face that struggle honestly and learn to walk in the freedom Christ gives. Written from the author’s own experience of bondage to alcohol and pornography, it points to the Savior who changed his life and brings biblical truth into the choices you face every day.
At the heart of this study is a firm foundation: salvation is by grace through faith, and your hope rests in Christ’s finished work. From that foundation, explore what it means to be made new, depend on the Holy Spirit, and put God’s Word into practice.
Truth you can put into practice
- Recognize what keeps drawing you back. Examine the false promises, private excuses, and patterns that give sin room in your life.
- Prepare for temptation. Learn to remove provision for the flesh, use Scripture thoughtfully, and make a practical plan to leave temptation and seek help.
- Face failure with honesty and hope. Understand confession, repentance, and assurance so you can take responsibility and return to obedience.
- Begin rebuilding trust. Consider how your choices affect others and take meaningful steps toward honesty, repair, and faithful relationships.
- Grow in purpose and usefulness. Develop dependable brotherhood and daily habits that help you serve God and the people He has placed in your life.
Inside the revised study
Work through 40 daily lessons, 80 reflection questions, eight memory passages, and eight weekly reviews. Each lesson brings together KJV Scripture, clear teaching, word help, an action to take, and a prayer of dependence. Study on your own, with a trusted brother, or in a men’s group.
Practical guides help you prepare for temptation, respond after a fall, rebuild trust, walk with another man, and continue with a thirty-day plan. A key-word guide and Scripture help organized by need make the book useful long after Day 40.
